WKU journalism prof says papers can survive cuts

Bowling Green, Ky – Many newspapers across the country, including the Louisville Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald-Leader, have been reducing their work forces. Leaders in the newspaper industry point to declining ad revenues, but WKU Photojournalism Program Coordinator James Kenney says lower circulations have hurt some papers, as well. He spoke to our Dan Modlin about the current health of the newspaper business.
