WKU to Start Sun Belt Conference Play Tonight

The WKU baseball team will face top-seeded Florida Atlantic tonight at the Bowling Green Ballpark, as the Sun Belt Conference tournament gets underway in the home of the Bowling Green Hot Rods.  WKU has played four games in that minor league park in the past, winning all four.

The Hilltoppers, who enter the tournament with a 13-17 Sun Belt Conference record this season, defeated 18th ranked Louisville in Bowling Green Ballpark earlier this season. Head Coach Matt Myers says his team is looking forward to the chance to play in the minor league park again, because its "a great atmosphere" for the games.

WKU is slated to send left hander Austin Clay to the mound against Florida Atlantic right hander Ryan Garton. The game is scheduled to start at 7pm, Central time.
