Bowling Green, Ky – Some leading universities across the country have suffered serious losses to their endowment funds in the past year. Stock market drops have led to major declines in endowment funds at schools such as Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. WKU Vice-President for Institutional Advancement Tom Hiles says private giving has become increasingly important to many public--as well as private--universities. Hiles spoke to our Dan Modlin about WKU's approach to growing an endowment.
