Seven months after being charged with nearly two dozen charges of leaving 19 children unattended in a sweltering, filthy Bowling Green home, 32-year-old Jackie Farah is expected to accept a plea agreement.
The Bowling Green Daily News reports Farah's case was removed from the trial docket Monday in anticipation of her guilty plea March 4th. Her case had been scheduled to go to jury trial March 19th.
Farah faced 14 counts of first degree criminal abuse and five counts of first degree wanton endangerment after the children, aged seven months to 16 years old, were found alone in the house last July. The children were removed from the home into protective custody and placed in residential settings within a 100 mile radius of Bowling Green through the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
