As the Major League Baseball play-offs get underway, many teams are counting on strong pitching staffs to move them closer to the World Series. For many fans, it can be difficult to tell what's going on when a pitcher changes speeds or tries to fool a hitter with a slider or cut fastball. WKU head baseball coach Matt Myers says the art of pitching can be more difficult than some fans might realize.
The WKU baseball team will face top-seeded Florida Atlantic tonight at the Bowling Green Ballpark, as the Sun Belt Conference tournament gets underway in the home of the Bowling Green Hot Rods. WKU has played four games in that minor league park in the past, winning all four.
