WKU Political Scientist Says US Left With No Easy Answers in Afghanistan

Bowling Green, Ky – The decision to cancel an upcoming Presidential runoff election in Afghanistan still leaves some tough decisions for US leaders as they try to deal with political turmoil and violence there. WKU Political Science Professor Soleimon Kiasatpour says there are no easy answers for America's political and military leaders. He spoke with our Dan Modlin.

First Lady Rallies Republicans in Radcliff

Radcliff, Ky – First Lady Laura Bush came to Hardin County to speak on behalf of 2nd District Congressman Ron Lewis. Republicans hope the visit by Mrs. Bush will increase GOP turnout in the area next Tuesday. Kevin Willis was at the Radcliff event, and has this report.

Tennessee Kurds at Long Last See Saddam on Trial for Genocide

Nashville, TN – Saddam Hussein is standing trial for the gassing deaths of thousands of Kurdish civilians in the late 1980s. In Nashville, this country's largest Kurdish community is hoping the ex-dictator finally sees justice for the genocide. We hear from Tahir Hussein, head of the Nashville Kurdish Forum.
