Bowling Green, Ky – The most recent GDP figures show the US economy has grown at a faster pace than many had predicted. WKU Economics Professor Dick Cantrell says the figures certainly fall short of "robust growth", but also indicate the US economy is not in recession. In the longer term, Professor Cantrell warns against higher taxes and trade protectionism. He spoke to our Dan Modlin.
Louisville, Ky – Louisville has been home to some 1,400 Hurricane Gustav evacuees from the Gulf Coast region. They've been sleeping on cots in the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, waiting for the first opportunity to return home. Lisa Autry went to Louisville and met some of the evacuees.
Bowling Green, Ky – A special committee is meeting in Frankfort to address the retention of court records in the Commonwealth. Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John D.
