Book About Todd Gibbs to be Released Nationally

Bowling Green, KY – Many of the people who knew Todd Gibbs describe him as being a remarkable person. Although he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of five, this Allen County native became a newspaper columnist, radio news director, basketball referee, and youth and church leader. He was also the "National Cystic Fibrosis Poster Representative" and traveled to the White House to meet the President. A book about his life ("Not a Wasted Breath") will be released nationally on December 14th.

Filmmaker in Bowling Green to showcase Burmese refugees

Bowling Green, Ky – More than 1,000 refugees from Burma have arrived in Bowling Green in recent years. For more than 60 years, Burma's military regime has persecuted ethnic minorities, prompting many to flee their country for refugee camps in Thailand. From there, some have made it to the US. Documentary filmmaker Paco Beltran is in Bowling Green to see how some of these refugees have settled into life in southern Kentucky. Lisa Autry has our story.

Groundbreaking For KY, IN Bridge Span

Louisville – A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Tuesday for the Milton-Madison bridge project
on the Ohio River east of Louisville. The new bridge will replace the narrow, 81 year old span that connects Milton, Kentucky and Madison, Indiana. The Indiana Transportation Department's Will Wingfield says original plans called for the existing bridge to be closed for a year, but contractors have found a way to cut the downtime to just ten days.
