A deaf University of Kentucky football season ticket holder and the university have settled a lawsuit over closed-captioning at Wildcat home games. Charles Mitchell of Lancaster filed suit in May, seeking to force the University to put captions for all game announcements on the scoreboard of the stadium, under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Officials from the Bowling Green Hot Rods and WKU have announced that the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament will be held at Bowling Green Ballpark May 23rd through 27th. WKU will play host to the top eight teams in the Sun Belt Conference, with each team guaranteed to play three games in the round robin format.

This comes after Ken McDonald was fired following a 5-11 start to the season. Bjork said a national search will get underway to identify the next full-time head coach. WKU basketball coach Ken McDonald has been fired. A statement released by the school this morning says assistant coach Ray Harper has been named interim coach. The Toppers are 5-11 so far this season, and lost at home Thursday night to Louisiana-Lafayette.
