WKU Will Start Jakes, Go for Second Straight Sun Belt Win

WKU quarterback Kawuan Jakes will start Thursday's game at Troy.

WKU quarterback Kawuan Jakes will start Thursday night’s game against Troy, but will wear a brace to protect his injured left knee. Jakes was hurt during WKU’s win over Arkansas State Sept. 29 and didn’t play in the second half.

WKU Public Radio Offers Look Into the Art of Pitching

As the Major League Baseball play-offs get underway, many teams are counting on strong pitching staffs to move them closer to the World Series. For many fans, it can be difficult to tell what's going on when a pitcher changes speeds or tries to fool a hitter with a slider or cut fastball. WKU head baseball coach Matt Myers says the  art of pitching can be more difficult than some fans might realize.
