WKU soccer players, fans fight to keep sport

Bowling Green, Ky – WKU Athletics Director Wood Selig announced recently that the school would eliminate the men's soccer program due to budget constraints. This has obviously angered the campus and local soccer community, with many of them marching on WKU President Gary Ransdell's house to voice their displeasure. Joe Corcoran reports.

To meet degree goals, more Ky adults must go back to school

Bowling Green, Ky – In an effort to boost the number of college graduates in Kentucky, the Council on Postsecondary Education is hosting an Adult Learner Summit in Lexington this week. Interim CPE President Brad Cowgill says adults are critical if the state is to meet its goal of doubling the number of degree-holders by 2020.
