Kevin Willis

News Director

Kevin is the News Director at WKU Public Radio.  He has been with the station since 1999, and was previously the Assistant News Director, and also served as local host of Morning Edition.  He is a broadcast journalism graduate of WKU, and has won numerous awards for his reporting and feature production.  Kevin grew up in Radcliff, Kentucky and currently lives in Glasgow.

Owensboro radio personality Joe Lowe, on the right, was a mainstay at WOMI-FM.

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirier is reporting the death of a local radio personality who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Joe Lowe spent the final months of his life advocating for more Kentuckians to get cancer screenings.

WKU Hilltoppers Run Record to 5-1, Win on the Road at Troy

WKU fell behind early, but rallied to win at Troy Thursday night to extend their winning streak to four. The Hilltoppers' 31-26 win came despite trailing by ten in the first quarter, several lost fumbles, and numerous penalties.
