A six-month closure of the Ohio River “Blue Bridge” in Ownesboro will come to an end Wednesday at noon. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that’s the time the bridge will open for traffic.
It’s been closed since May 13th for an extensive painting project at the cost of over $10 million. The painting was completed 11 months ahead of schedule.
