Former KET Head to Lead State Department of Education

Lexington,KY – Former Kentucky Educational Television Executive
Director Virginia Fox will become Kentucky's
Secretary of Education. Governor-elect Ernie
Fletcher made the announcement this morning
at an elementary school in Lexington.

Fox is a former elementary school teacher who
formerly served as the Chief Executive of
the KET network in Kentucky. She says
her primary focus has always been to
"help provide a quality education" for residents
of the state. Fox is a native of Campbellsville,
Kentucky.
