Ft. Campbell Soldier Pleads Guilty

Fort Campbell, KY – A Fort Campbell soldier has pleaded guilty to charges he illegally smuggled foreign-made guns out of Iraqw and tried to sell them in the United States.
24 year old Sergeant Beau Uran of Clarksville, Tennessee, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to unlawfully import machine guns from Iraq in U. S. District Court in paducah.
Uran is the third person to plead guilty in the conspiracy.
46 year old Guy Brown and 31 year old Nigel Brown of Hopkinsville pleaded guilty in July to the same charges.
The face up to ten years in prison, a $250,000 fine and supervised release for up to three years when they';re sentenced on October 25th.
