Groups Call For 37th District Ruling

By AP

Frankfort, KY – A pair of bi-partisan Washington groups say that after nearly a year of haggling, it's time to allow Dana Seum Stephenson to take her seat in the general assembly.
The National Conference of State Legislatures and the American Legislative Excgange Council say it's time to seat Stephenson and move on. They say the people of senate district 37 have chosen Stephenson to govern them and their choice has been ratified by the Kentucky senate.
The orders of the court of Justice have left District 37 unrepresented. The Kentucky Supreme Court is set to hear the case between Stephenson and Democrat Virginia Woodward on November 16th.
