Homicide Victim Still Unidentified

By AP

Bowling Green, KY – Bowling Green police are still trying to learn the identity of a homicide victim, whose body was found Saturday morning in the Barren river. The body was discovered by a fisherman.
Police are not releasing any information on the man's wounds or manner of death.
The man is described as a 5'9" tall, 160 pound male with black hair and a tattoo of a howling wolf on his upper left arm. He was wearing blue jeans and a red, southwestern style Carhartt jacket with a black stripe across the upper chest.
Though the race is uncertain due to decomposition, police think the man is white.
A national teletype has been released with a description of the victim. Warren County deputy coroner DeWayne Lawrence says his report is incomplete and will take some time to finish.
