Hurricane Sandy Snarling Airport Traffic in Kentucky, Tennessee

Hurricane Sandy is disrupting flights from Louisville International Airport to the East Coast.  Airport spokesperson Trish Burke on Monday said all flights to the Eastern Seaboard were cancelled, which amounts to 20 of their 84 daily flights.Burke says because of the ripple effect the cancellations will have on the rest of the country over the next couple of days, it would be wise for travelers to contact their airline, before heading out to the airport.

Similar issues are being experienced at airports in Lexington, Northern Kentucky, and Nashville.
