Kentucky Grocers Defeated in '09 General Assembly

Bowling Green, KY – A coalition of grocery stores in Kentucky want to change state law to allow the sale of wine in their establishments. Proponents say consumers want to be able to purchase wine and food at one stop. The proposal got lost this year in a legislative session with more pressing issues, such as the budget shortfall. But,proponents say they will try again next year. Lisa Autry has the story.
