Winchester, KY – Kentucky Utilites and Louisville Gas and Electric Company crews will be working in Missouri and Indiana where winter storms have disrupted power.
Fifteen crews from KU and four from LG&E were dispatched Wednesday morning. The assistance will be similar to the companies' efforts during the summer following the Florida hurricanes.
The 19 crews of two or three workers each are to begin work Friday. They include supervisors, line technicians and tree trimmers. Should weather cause problems in their home areas, they'd leave immediately and come back
