Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Adjutant General Donald Storm says new tactics by Iraqi insurgents could be one reason behind the sudden surge in kentucky National Guard fatalities in Iraq.
He said the insurgents now seem to be concentrating their attacks on non-military convoys supplying the new Iraqi government. they're the kind of convoys that Kentucky Guard members often escort.
