Public Service Commission Decides to Drop the Split Area Code Proposal for Western Kentucky

Bowling Green, KY – The Public Service Commission says a shortage of telephone numbers won't be a problem in western Kentucky for at least four years. So the PSC has decided not to pursue the implementation of a split area code plan for those portions of Kentucky currently in the 270 area. The PSC started the process of creating a new area code in the region back in 2006. Dan Modlin has more on the story.........
