Results Stand In Barren County Judge-Executive Democratic Primary

The recanvass is complete after an extremely close primary race for Barren County Judge-Executive earlier this month.

In the May 20 Democratic primary, Michael Hale defeated Bud Tarry by just three votes.  The Daily News reports the ballots were counted again Thursday morning and the results stood.  Tarry, who came up just short in the race, has said since election night he really didn’t expect a different outcome.

Hale will now face the winner of the Republican primary, David Honeycutt.
