Stumbo Wants Ten Commandments

By WKYU-FM/AP

Frankfort, Ky – Attorney General Greg Stumbo says he's ready to petition the Federal court to allow a Ten Commandments display back on the capitol grounds and he wants Governor Fletcher to join him.
Stumbo says he fought for decades for the right to display the Commandments when he was a state legislator and says he's ready to continue what he calls "the battle to honor our moral heritage".
Stumbo says recent Supreme Court decisions allowing the Commandments to be displayed in historical, not religious, settings gives him hope he can seek relief from a six year old Federal Court ruling. That ruling prohibited such a display at the Capitol.
