Uncertainty Over Decker College

By AP

Frankfort, KY – Inspectors from the Kentucky State Board for Proprietary Education are trying to determine whether Decker College has shut down. Decker College has been operating as a for-profit school tied to former Massachusetts Governor William Weld.
If it isn't operating, officials say Decker officials could be asked to voluntarily give up its license.
The state board has heard anecdotally that the school is primarily offering on-line courses and can't pay its bills.
Last week, the Kentucky attorney general's office announced it was investigating Decker College for possible consumer fraud violations.
