Bowling Green, KY – A major gift to Western Kentucky University will be used to
establish a Visiting Professorship in business leadership
and ethics. The "Wendell Cherry Visiting Professorship"
will be created through a gift of 250 thousand dollars from
the Humana Foundation. The gift will be matched by
250 thousand dollars from the Commonwealth's Regional
University Excellence Trust Fund.
University officials say the visiting professorship will help
to establish Western as a leader in the fields of business
leadership and ethics.
