WKU finishes a stretch of four of five away from home Saturday night at 7:30 when it takes on Troy at the brand-new Trojan Arena, which opened prior to the 2012-13 season. The Hilltoppers started the Sun Belt Conference schedule with a win Thursday night at ULM behind T.J. Price’s career high 30 points, giving the Hilltoppers their fifth win in the last six conference openers and snapping a three-game Sun Belt Conference road losing streak.
Games in Troy have given WKU trouble in recent memory, as the Hilltoppers have lost their last four games at Troy and have not won there since the 2007-08 season. However, all of those games were played at the old Sartain Hall, which is no longer the home of Trojan basketball. WKU has lost four of five overall to Troy as well.
The game will be televised by the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network, airing nationally on ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court and locally on WKYU-PBS. It will also be broadcast on the radio on the Hilltopper IMG Sports Network with Randy Lee and Hal Schmitt on the call.
Live stats and live audio are available on WKUSports.com.
WKU returns home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM against Southern Illinois.
