Organizers say Owensboro's International Mystery Writer's Festival will likely be held in the fall next year. The event normally takes place in June, but RiverPark Center General Manager Roxi Witt says moving it to October would allow authors to interact with schools.

Legendary Texas songwriter Billy Joe Shaver will be appearing twice in Kentucky this week. He's scheduled to perform in Bowling Green Thursday night and again at the Master Musician's Festival in Somerset this weekend.

The International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro has big ideas for the future.  Officials want to turn the old state office building downtown into a new International Bluegrass Music Center.
