Bowling Green, Ky – A change in the law this year is making it easier for some people to qualify for assistance in covering Medicare prescription drug plan costs. Southeast Regional Commissioner Paul Barnes says the new law exempts certain types of income from the qualification guidelines for the "Extra Help" program. Mr. Barnes spoke to our Dan Modlin.

She was there as part of a team of students and faculty that went to India to learn about international reporting. While in India, Colleen and her professor, Sara Shipley Hiles, focused their efforts on reporting the country's growing number of farmer suicides. In her own words, Colleen describes what she saw.
