WKU Men's Basketball Coaches Prepared to Embrace New NCAA Texting, Phone Rules

Up until now, college coaches from all sports have been forbidden from sending messages to recruits via text, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. They’ve also been limited to how many phone calls they make to recruits.

WKU Swimmer Heads For Olympic Trials

WKU's Claire Donahue following her dream to the Olympics.

****UPDATE:  Donahue posted a career-best time of 57.82 seconds at the preliminaries of the 100-meter butterfly Monday, putting her in second place at the USA Swimming Trials.  Donahue advances to the semifinals of the Olympic trials, which will take place Monday night and will be aired live on NBC.

Basketball Transfer Won't Suit Up for WKU Men this Season

WKU forward Michael Bradley has been denied a hardship waiver by the NCAA that would have made him eligible to play this fall for the Hilltopper basketball team. Bradley is a 6'10'', 225 pound native of Chattanooga, Tenn., who transferred earlier this year from Connecticut.
